Super Stud Building Products’ family of vertical and drift deflection
clips has been developed to enable the building designer to
isolate the structural deflections from the curtain-wall systems and
to prevent the application of axial load on the cold-formed steel
curtainwall member.
Deflection slide Clip DC1700 or DC1500 slide clip connects
exterior curtainwall stud to the building structural frame, provides
lateral support and allows for vertical deflectoin of 3/4” up and
down of the primary face.
